As expected with TLS, these lenses come in robust housings with matching focus/iris gear positions, smooth focus rotations & standard 95mm fronts. Better yet, TLS improved the close focus on the 50mm from 2’ 3” to 1’ 7” and from 5’ to 3’ 9” on the 135mm. The original 7-bladed irises have also been replaced with fresh 16-bladed irises to ensure consistent & smooth bokeh as you stop down. Aesthetically, Super Speeds provide that legendary Zeiss look with superb sharpness and a flattering renditioning of details (particularly in skin tones).
